Help us out!

WE NEED COOKS, SERVERS AND WASHER-UPPERS and IDEAS! Although the club has rotas to cover running the races, opening the club and serving in the bar, the kitchen still needs volunteers!
Thursdays, Sundays or special Social events, if you can help out with anything at all contact any member of the Social Committe.

When and What?

Thursdays

Need: Cooks, Washer-Uppers
As you probably know, the club serves hot meals for hungry sailors on Thursday evenings.
If you can prepare a meal for after sailing then let us know. It doesn't have to be complicated, you don't have to be a Masterchef, hot and filling are the only requirements! All food costs will be reimbursed, just present your receipts!

Sundays

Need: Cooks, Washer-Uppers
Sunday lunchtimes are usually catered for with everyones favourite sausage in a roll and burgers. These are held in stock at the club, and as Sundays, aren't pre-booked, all you have to do is cook more as you go along.

Special Events

Need: Cooks, Servers, Washer-Uppers... IDEAS!
The clubs Social Events are very popular and well attended and this is due to the excellent work done by those behind the scenes. For the 'big meal' events (Festive Supper, Open meeting sit down meals) too many cooks don't spoil the broth… they share the workload! Servers are also used as having people queue at the servery hatch for what could be 4 courses just isn't practical, and the washing up help, as always, is essential.
