The Boat Park

The Broadstairs Sailing Club boat park is a fenced off compound with a locked metal gate conveniently situated on the sea front promenade just around the corner from the launching ramp on Viking Bay.
Any BSC member can rent a space to keep their boat handy, all season long.
Spaces are rented out on a first come first served basis, and over the past couple of years we have been completely full, so be sure to get in touch with Boat Park Officer, Peter Binskin-Barnes sooner rather than later!

Prices

Single Space

Suitable for most boat types a single space for this season is £102 (£92 with discount, See below for details)

Additional Space

If you have a second boat that you need a space for then we offer additional spaces at a reduced rate, additional spaces are £

Racked Space

A rack stacks two boats on top of each other, so this means you can use a single space for two boats, though this obviously means a boat that lowers its mast to derig. e.g. Laser or Topper. A racked space (rack provided) is £

End Space

If your boat is out of the ordinary size range (up to Laser 5000) and so doesn't fit a normal space, then an End Space gives a bit more room. End Spaces are £

Temporary Space

Temporary Members and visitors (not for open meetings) can rent a space, subject to availability, for £10 per week

Discounts

Early Payment

A discount of 10% of the annual charge is available if payment is received on or before the last day of February, so get your payment in early!

Late Starter?

If you join the club later in the year then you won't want to be paying for a space for the entire season. So, if you put your boat in the boat park on or after September 1st then the standard rate is reduced by 50%.
